The Hero's Journey Masterclass is a digital product. Whoever buys it gets immediate access to a video series, a printable self-coaching plan and the complete Hero's Journey roadmap as a high-resolution PDF – sixteen stations along which to lay out your own story. The idea behind it is Joseph Campbell's hero's journey, translated into exercises you can do alone at a kitchen table.

What turns the product into a gift is the analogue part: after purchase we send a handwritten A6 postcard with a mini roadmap and a personal quote from John. Things to think about when giving

• Agree on the color beforehand if you can. A casual "which color would you pick" while scrolling through the shop usually reveals enough.
• Allow time. Shipping within Germany takes, by our own indication, one to eleven days; the Masterclass is there immediately.
